Is it more suitable than upfront payments? How much does it cost?

Is Website-as-a-Service suitable for my business?

A monthly Website-as-a-Service plan is useful if you’re too busy running your business to worry about your website or if you don’t want to invest too much upfront in your digital marketing. It’s a good fit if you need a simple website that acts as an “online brochure” and captures leads with an online form.

For online stores, membership sites and anything that needs custom coding, we recommend our traditional upfront pricing model with a 25% deposit and the 75% final payment when the site is published.

Monthly payments vs upfront payments

With one of our WaaS monthly plans, you don’t need to pay $1,800+ upfront for a new website and you don’t need to worry about software licences and updates.

Instead, you will pay between $29 and $179 per month for a website that is always updated and maintained by our team. Our WaaS (Website-as-a-Service) plans are all inclusive with the exception of the copy, that is your text and your pictures. But for an extra fee, we can arrange for a copywriter to create your content.

At the end of the WaaS plan, the website is yours and you can move it to your own web hosting or we can can maintain with one of our website care plans.

FAQ

Is there any other fee?

No, there is no other required fee.

Can I cancel my WaaS plan?

Yes, you can cancel your WaaS plan at any time but you will need to pay 50% of the remaining balance.

If you want to take your website to another web hosting provider, you will need to pay 100% of the remaining balance and we will provide a compressed zip file with all the files.

What happens when my WaaS plan ends after 24 months?

At the end of your 24-month WaaS plan, you can either:

  • Start a new WaaS and we will create a brand new website with a different design
  • Start a website care plan + web/email hosting plan and we’ll continue updating and maintaining your website at a cheaper cost.
  • Take your website away to a different web hosting company. In this case, we will provide a compressed Zip file with all the files. If you want to move your email address as well, you will need to contact the new email hosting company.
  • Shut down your website

What payment methods are available?

We accept recurring credit card payments and bank transfers.

Is there a professional email address included?

Yes, except for the Budget static website.

Emails are hosted separately from your website on a dedicated email hosting server in Sydney.

You can access emails via Webmail in a web browser or your from your favourite mail app over POP3 or IMAP.

How long does it take to create a new website?

Once we have all your content (text and pictures), it takes in average one month to create a new website.

What is included in updates and support?

Each WaaS plan offers a certain amount of free updates and support from us.

This includes:

  • Updating text and pictures
  • Solving technical issues
  • Answering any question you may have

This does not include:

  • Website revamp, eg new layout
  • New pages

Can I get extra features?

Yes, we can provide extra features to your website. In this case we will provide a quote for a one-off fee.
